着脱式可搬バッテリの不具合 備考: ■不具合の部位（部品名） その他（着脱式可搬バッテリ） ■基準不適合状態にあると認める構造、装置又は性能の状況及びその原因 電動二輪車に搭載する着脱式可搬バッテリにおいて、バッテリセルの外装加工管理及び電極層の外径設定が不適切なため、加工時の残留応力と電極層膨張の応力によりセル外装に亀裂が発生し、電解液が漏れることがある。そのため、セル電圧の低下による充電不良、または、漏れた電解液により金属が析出し短絡して、最悪の場合、セルが発火し火災に至るおそれがある。

Notes: ■ Location of the defect (part name) Other (detachable portable battery) ■ The structure, device or performance found not to conform to the standard, and its cause In the detachable portable battery fitted to electric two-wheelers, control of the processing of the battery cells' outer casing and the setting of the electrode layer's outer diameter are inappropriate, so the residual stress from processing and the stress of the electrode layer expanding can crack the cell casing and let electrolyte leak. The result may be charging failure from a drop in cell voltage, or the leaked electrolyte may deposit metal and cause a short circuit, and at worst the cell may catch fire and lead to a fire.
